Day 0 (August 02, 2027): Arrival in Tanzania - Transfer from Airport to Moshi
You will be greeted at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Attend your pre-climb briefing with our lead expedition expert, check your gear, and rest up for tomorrow's adventure.

Day 1 (August 03, 2027): Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft | Distance: 11 km / 7 miles | Hiking Time: 5-7 hours | Habitat: Rain Forest
A 1-hour drive from Moshi leads to Machame Gate. Begin trekking through winding trails surrounded by lush tropical rainforest up to Machame Camp.

Day 2 (August 04, 2027): Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft | Distance: 5 km / 3 miles | Hiking Time: 4-6 hours | Habitat: Heath
A shorter but steeper day taking you above the forest line onto the Shira Plateau. Enjoy clear views of Kibo peak and Mount Meru.
