Day 0 (July 02, 2027): Arrival in Tanzania - Transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and privately transferred to your hotel in Moshi town. You will sit down with your lead climbing expert for a comprehensive trek briefing and gear check before resting for the night.

Day 1 (July 03, 2027): Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft
Distance: 11 km / 7 miles
Hiking Time: 5-7 hours
Habitat: Rain Forest
After a short drive from Moshi to Machame Gate, you will register with park authorities and begin your journey through the lush rain forest trail up a scenic ridge to Machame Camp.

Day 2 (July 04, 2027): Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft
Distance: 5 km / 3 miles
Hiking Time: 4-6 hours
Habitat: Heath
A shorter but steeper day of hiking leaves the forest behind. As you gain altitude, vegetation transitions to moorland with dramatic views of Kibo peak and Mount Meru in the distance.

Day 3 (July 05, 2027): Shira Cave to Lava Tower, Down to Barranco Camp
Elevation: 12,500 ft to 15,190 ft, descending to 13,044 ft

You leave Karanga and ascend toward the rocky ridge linking to Barafu Hut, completing the Southern Circuit and positioning yourself with dramatic views of both Kibo and Mawenzi peaks for your summit push.

Day 6 (July 08, 2027): Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, Descent to Mweka Camp
Elevation: 15,331 ft to 19,341 ft, descending to 10,065 ft

Starting around midnight, you push through extreme alpine conditions in the dark toward Stella Point and onward to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Following your celebration, you descend directly to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
