Itinerary Schedule (June 2027)

Day 0 (June 07, 2027): Arrival in Tanzania - Airport Transfer to Moshi
Upon touching down at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi town. Meet your lead mountain guide for a comprehensive pre-trek briefing and equipment check before resting up for the adventure ahead.

Day 1 (June 08, 2027): Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft | Distance: 11 km | Hiking Time: 5-7 hours | Habitat: Rain Forest
A 1-hour drive from Moshi brings us to Machame Gate. We trek along a winding path through thick rainforest ridges until we arrive at Machame Camp.

Day 2 (June 09, 2027): Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft | Distance: 5 km | Hiking Time: 4-6 hours | Habitat: Heath
A short but steep hike leaving the forest behind. Enjoy panoramic views of Kibo Peak, the rolling plains below, and Mount Meru in the distance as alpine vegetation takes over.

Day 3 (June 10, 2027): Shira Cave to Lava Tower down to Barranco Camp
Elevation: 12,500 ft to 15,190 ft down to 13,044 ft | Distance: 10 km | Hiking Time: 6-7 hours | Habitat: Alpine Desert
We hike east toward the striking volcanic formation of Lava Tower before descending through the breathtaking Senecio Forest to Barranco Camp. This "climb high, sleep low" profile optimizes acclimatization.

Day 4 (June 11, 2027): Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Elevation: 13,044 ft to 13,106 ft | Distance: 5 km | Hiking Time: 4-5 hours | Habitat: Alpine Desert
We scale the non-technical yet steep Great Barranco Wall, navigating valleys and ridges before arriving at Karanga Camp for an early lunch and rest.

Day 5 (June 12, 2027): Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Elevation: 13,106 ft to 15,331 ft | Distance: 4 km | Hiking Time: 4-5 hours | Habitat: Alpine Desert
Connecting with the Mweka Trail, we advance to the rocky ridge of Barafu Hut. Complete the Southern Circuit with multi-angle views of the summit, early dinner, and prep for midnight summit push.

Day 6 (June 13, 2027): Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak & Descent to Mweka Camp
Elevation: 15,331 ft to 19,341 ft, descending to 10,065 ft | Distance: 18 km | Hiking Time: 13-14 hours | Habitat: Arctic
Starting around midnight, we conquer the steep, freezing scree slope to Stella Point (18,900 ft), witness an incredible sunrise over Mawenzi Peak, and reach Uhuru Peak—the rooftop of Africa! Afterwards, we descend securely to Mweka Camp.

Day 7 (June 14, 2027): Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate & Return to Moshi
Elevation: 10,065 ft to 5,380 ft | Distance: 10 km | Hiking Time: 3-4 hours | Habitat: Rain Forest
Our final descent leads us through the lower forest to Mweka Gate where you will receive your official Kilimanjaro climbing certificates before being transferred back to Moshi.
