Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Attend your pre-trek briefing with our senior mountain guide and perform a complete gear check before resting for the night.

Day 1: (September 12, 2027) - Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Distance: 11 km / 7 miles
Hiking Time: 5–7 hours
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft
Habitat: Rain Forest
Drive from Moshi through local mountain villages to Machame Gate. Complete registration formalities and begin trekking through the dense rainforest to Machame Camp.

Day 2: (September 13, 2027) - Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Distance: 5 km / 3 miles
Hiking Time: 5–6 hours
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft
Habitat: Heath Zone
A shorter but steeper day of trekking. Ascend ridge trails with panoramic views of the plains, Kibo peak, and Mount Meru. Witness the vegetation shift to alpine plants like Lobelia deckenii.

Begin your alpine summit push at midnight through volcanic scree to reach Stella Point on the crater rim at sunrise. Continue along the rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Descend back via Barafu to Millennium Camp for a well-earned rest.
