Overview: 8 Days Lemosho Route Group Trek
The 8-day Lemosho Route is widely recognized as one of the most scenic and rewarding trails on Mount Kilimanjaro, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas from multiple sides of the mountain. Ideal for climbers seeking a balance of lower crowds, stunning natural scenery, and a remarkably high summit success rate, this route is especially recommended for beginners. The longer duration ensures proper acclimatization, giving you the best possible chance of reaching the summit in June 2027.
The trek begins on the western slopes at Londorossi Gate, traversing lush rainforest up to the magnificent Shira Plateau during the first two days. The trail then trends east toward Lava Tower, drops down into the dramatic Barranco Valley along the Southern Circuit, and finally sets up the ultimate summit push from Barafu Camp.
