Arrival Day: (July 17, 2027) - Transfer from Airport to Moshi
You will be greeted at Kilimanjaro International Airport and comfortably transferred to Moshi town. Meet our lead trekking expert for a comprehensive pre-climb briefing and gear check before resting for the night.

Day 1: (July 18, 2027) - Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Distance: 11 km / 7 miles
Hiking Time: 5 - 7 hours
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft
Habitat: Rain Forest
Depart Moshi for Machame Gate, passing local villages on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Following park registration, begin your hike through the dense tropical rain forest to Machame Camp.

Day 2: (July 19, 2027) - Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Distance: 5 km / 3 miles
Hiking Time: 5 - 6 hours
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft
Habitat: Heath
A shorter but steeper climb takes you out of the forest onto steep ridges. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the plains, Kibo peak, and Mount Meru, while encountering unique alpine flora like Senecio kilimanjari.
