Arrival Day: (November 8, 2027) - Airport Transfer to Moshi
You will be warmly greeted upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town. You'll meet our lead trekking expert for a comprehensive pre-climb briefing and gear check before resting for the night.

Day 1: (November 9, 2027) - Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Distance: 11 km / 7 miles
Hiking Time: 5 - 7 hours
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft
Habitat: Rainforest
After breakfast and a scenic drive from Moshi through Machame village to the park gate for registration, we begin our trek through the dense rainforest up to Machame Camp.

Day 2: (November 10, 2027) - Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Distance: 5 km / 3 miles
Hiking Time: 5 - 6 hours
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft
Habitat: Moorland / Heath
A shorter but steeper day's hike. We ascend past rocky ridges and viewpoints looking back at the plains and Mount Meru. Vegetation transitions into alpine moorland featuring unique giant groundsels and lobelias.

Day 3: (November 11, 2027) - Shira Cave Camp via Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Distance: 10 km / 6 miles
Hiking Time: 6 - 8 hours
Elevation: 12,500 ft to 15,190 ft down to 13,044 ft
Habitat: Alpine Desert
We trek across the high moorland toward the imposing Lava Tower (4,600m) before descending to Barranco Camp. This follows the essential acclimatization rule: "walk high, sleep low."

Day 4: (November 12, 2027) - Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
Distance: 9 km / 5 miles
Hiking Time: 8 - 10 hours
Elevation: 13,044 ft to 15,331 ft
Habitat: Alpine Desert
We navigate the famous Barranco Wall and traverse desolate scree slopes toward Barafu Camp. An early dinner and rest are essential to prepare for our midnight summit push.

Day 5: (November 13, 2027) - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (Summit) to Millennium Camp
Distance: 5 km ascent / 7 km descent
Hiking Time: 6 - 8 hours (up) & 2 - 4 hours (down)
Elevation: 15,331 ft to 19,341 ft down to 12,434 ft
Habitat: Arctic to Heath
We start our final ascent around midnight through frozen scree to reach Stella Point on the crater rim at sunrise, continuing on to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the roof of Africa. After celebrating, we descend back to Barafu for a quick break and continue down to Millennium Camp.

Day 6: (November 14, 2027) - Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate & Return to Moshi
Distance: 12 km / 7 miles
Hiking Time: 5 - 7 hours
Elevation: 12,434 ft to 5,380 ft
Habitat: Rainforest
A final gentle descent through the lush rainforest brings us to Mweka Gate, where we collect our official summit certificates. Our transport will meet you for the drive back to Moshi for hot showers and celebratory drinks.
